These are some great tips and while I am able to appreciate the art of saving on fuel and increasing you mpg I could not help but notice that you stated that hyper millers usually don't hold up traffic or drive too slow, however you seemed to be driving fairly slowly, especially once you exited the Highway as seen at 6:00. Its not worth slowing other road users down just for that section of road. If I was driving behind you, like many drivers I would be frustrated and annoyed. But cool tips.

i could care less about how slow you go on the road just dont do it in the fast lane which a lot of prius's like to do

I used to coast alot in my 1st car and I damaged the engine. The tensioner went on the alternator. I dont coast any more, instad I just avoid unnessessary accelleration and I get pretty good on my deisel van. About 35-40mpg for an 2005 plate, usually loaded up with 200kgs of gear sometimes more.

Left lane cruisers are the cause of slow traffic, not hypermillers.

Wow... I drive like that in my Lincoln Town Car... Its estimated mileage is 17city, 24 highway, but I usually get about 19.5 miles per gallon in it... And I have an old air filter! Haha!! I could usually average about 20.6 miles per gallon with a new air filter...Hmm.. Perhaps I should do that..
